Building emotional resilience in young people is essential for their development.

The UK is facing a mental health crisis among its young people, with leading youth mental health charity Young Minds reporting that 1 in 6 young people have symptoms of a mental disorder such as depression or anxiety.

On the 10th of October, it’s World Mental Health Day. This is a day to raise awareness of mental health and serves as a reminder to check-in with ourselves and those around us.

This year World Mental Health Day is all the more important as many of us have suffered under lockdown restrictions and lost loved ones. Young Minds research has found that 81% of young people said that the COVID-19 pandemic has made their mental health worse.

Emotions Journal

This journal has been designed to build the emotional intelligence and resilience of young people, offering them the opportunity to reflect and process their emotions. Keeping emotions to ourselves can be harmful, and the Emotions Journal provides a healthy way to express these feelings
