Our Ambassador Programme
“The last two days have been amazing! It’s been full of information and networking…”
– Local Authority Safeguarding Officer (LADO), London.
Currently, the Safer Schools team are running an ambassador programme for frontline professionals across the UK who are making a positive influence within education and safeguarding.
Last week the team invited four ambassadors working within education and safeguarding to participate in our two-day training event at our Ineqe Offices in Belfast.
On behalf of our Chief Executive Officer, Jim Gamble, we would like to thank the ambassadors for their fantastic contributions and extend the invitation to other Safer Schools who may be interested in becoming ambassadors.
What we got up to during our training days
“It’s really impressive to see how much work and research goes into the work of Ineqe Safeguarding Group… ”
– Student Services and Attendance Officer, London.
At the training event, the Safer Schools team had the wonderful opportunity to meet some of our top engaged school representatives and introduce them to the Ineqe family.
During their visit to Belfast, our Safer Schools Ambassadors were given an exclusive tour of the Ineqe office and spent two days getting involved in practical workshops and Ineqe masterclasses.
Key Insights
Our training days gave us a chance to demonstrate the new features of the app and gain important insights from our ambassadors in shaping future developments and content.
As a part of the training, we provided key guidance on how to embed the Safer Schools resource within everyday safeguarding practice.
We also used this key opportunity to introduce our ambassadors to our content and development teams and show them our everyday processes within content curation, app development and research.
“People have made it really interesting for us. We have had lots of different speakers, different styles of the training and immersive exercises- we’re not just being spoken to so it’s really kept us on our toes!”
– Board Manager of Local Safeguarding Children’s Board, London.
