Man caught engaging child in sexual communication

  • A man has been caught engaging in sexual communication with a child by 3 online paedophile vigilante groups,
  • The offender discussed having babies and sent a picture of his genitals to what he thought was a 13-year-old girl, but was instead an online vigilante.
  • The offender used the dating app Badoo, before moving the communication to WhatsApp.
  • He admitted attempting to cause a child under 16 to view a sexual image. He also admitted attempting to communicate indecently with a child.
  • Sheriff Margaret Hodge deferred sentence for reports and made the accused subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act.

Fortnite is getting updated visuals on PC alongside season 7 launch

  • Fortnite is getting a visual boost on PC very soon. As part of the upcoming Chapter 2: Season 7, which will launch on June 8th, the game’s PC version is getting a new “epic” graphical setting.
  • Epic says it will include “new and enhanced effects plus improved post-processing features and shadow quality.”
  • Among other changes, it sounds like many of the great visual enhancements that came to the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game are coming to PC, including “more advanced explosion effects.”
  • As part of the update, the system requirements for Fortnite are getting a tweak and there are now three ranges: epic, recommended, and minimum.

 Police searching for a young girl seen walking by herself at midnight in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire

  • Police are searching for a young girl seen out walking by herself around midnight in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire.
  • Nottinghamshire Police say they were called around 11.55 pm on Thursday evening after the girl was seen on Tuxford Road, near Newark Road.
  • The girl has been described as around five years old, white, with shoulder-length blonde/brown hair and wearing Disney-style-onesie.
  • Officers have used a drone as well as having sniffer dogs in the area to help with the search. 
  • Inspector Hayley Crawford of Nottinghamshire Police said: “Reports of this nature is something the force take hugely seriously and we have a lot of resources in Ollerton to help with the search since the call.
