FIFA 22 cross-play test is coming
- FIFA 22 is going to test cross-play functionality in the “near future” between players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S and for cloud-service Stadia.
- The cross-play functionality will be limited to Online Seasons and Online Friendlies.
- In the test, cross-play can be enabled or disabled depending on player preference.

Instagram is testing a TikTok-like full-screen feed
- Instagram is experimenting with a full-screen vertical home feed aiming to “bring video more front and centre”.
- Images shared by Instagram show full-screen posts with comments, captions, likes and other features at the top of the post instead of below.
- The full-screen feed update is available for some users and a wider release date has not been announced yet.

Twitter is testing ‘Twitter Circle’ a close-friends feature
- Twitters new ‘Twitter Circle’ is now in testing with only select users having access.
- This is a feature like the ‘Close Friends’ feature on Instagram.
- It will allow users to post to their 150 closest friends, for only them to see.

Children’s commissioner criticises council Edinburgh City Council
- Children’s Commissioner for Scotland, Bruce Adamson, criticised the council for failing to respond to a report which “led to a situation in which children were subject to unacceptable and unlawful conduct”.
- This follows an investigation into Edinburgh City Council’s secure accommodation that found ‘serious failings’ dating back more than a decade.
- The report highlighted physical and mental abuse, including assaults on children and children being put in isolation and a toxic management culture.
