What is a Trusted Adult?
Being worried about something is not a nice feeling. You might be sad, upset or even scared.
If you are ever worried, about yourself or a friend, whether it’s a big worry or a little worry, you should always talk to a trusted adult. They can help.
These are all warning signs that you need someone to talk to.
You should always talk to a trusted adult if something is bothering you or making you upset. A trusted adult will help you.
Finding your inner superhero
Sometimes it can be hard to speak about the things that are worrying us, and that’s OK. To find the strength to speak up, it might help to:
Practice what you want to say in front of a mirror.
Write down your worries for a trusted adult to read.
Ask a friend to come with you for support.
Draw a picture to explain how you feel.
It takes a lot of courage to speak up, but there will always be people in your life who want to make sure that you are happy and safe.
